SENDER SIDE
No true plug-and-play on the sender side — Windows, Linux, macOS, each has its own hurdles.
Native DSD512 & PCM384 streaming on Windows, Linux and macOS. Use any app, any service, any DAC. Your audio chain. Your choice.
THE PROBLEM
The path from desktop to DAC is full of compromises in high-end setups — rarely named, but felt every day.
SENDER SIDE
No true plug-and-play on the sender side — Windows, Linux, macOS, each has its own hurdles.
NATIVE DSD
No native DSD in the standard audio subsystems of Windows and macOS.
OPEN SOLUTION
No open, cross-platform streaming solution — you choose between subscription models, DIY tinkering, or doing without.
THE SOLUTION · ARCHITECTURE
The DMP NEXUS ecosystem captures audio on your desktop — any app, untouched — and carries it across your network to the DMP ONE, which hands it bit-perfect to your DAC. Sender, network, receiver: one continuous path, with no resampling or conversion.
Today, the DMP NEXUS is the only available, open-standards-based, bit-perfect desktop-to-network streaming path for Windows, Linux, and — via the VIRTUAL APPLIANCE — macOS on Apple Silicon.
WORKS WITH EVERY APPLICATION YOU ALREADY USE
Streaming services
Audio players (commercial)
Audio players (free)
The list is not exhaustive. Any application that uses your operating system's standard audio interface works within the DMP NEXUS ecosystem.
DUAL USB OUTPUT
Connect two DACs simultaneously via USB on the DMP ONE. True plug-and-play at the receiver — without restarting playback. For the first time, honest A/B comparison is trivial.
BUILT-IN MUSIC SERVER
The DMP ONE includes an integrated UPnP music server. Store your DSD and PCM files directly on the device — up to 4 TB — and serve them to the DMP ONE and any OpenHome- or UPnP-compatible renderer on your network.
THE PLAYER
The DMP NEXUS PLAYER is our free, open-source-based reference application. It shows what the architecture can do — just download and listen.
NATIVE DSD OUTPUT ON EVERY PLATFORM
The DMP NEXUS PLAYER outputs up to DSD512 both natively and via DoP — on Windows via the DMP NEXUS ASIO driver, on Linux via the DMP NEXUS CORE's PipeWire sink, on macOS inside the DMP NEXUS VIRTUAL APPLIANCE. If your DAC only supports DoP, the DMP ONE takes care of it.
REFERENCE IMPLEMENTATION
Bit-perfect streaming up to PCM384 and DSD512, end to end. The PLAYER is the reference we measure the whole chain against — and the one you can verify it against.

Free, no account, no lock-in — built on the open-source Audacious player. Download it for Windows or Linux and get going. Runs on Linux and Windows, on both AMD64 and ARM64 architectures.
ENGINEERED IN GERMANY
The DMP ONE's two-part aluminium enclosure — top and bottom — is each CNC-machined from a single block, sandblasted, and finished with a polished chamfer along its top edge. The port labels are worked into the material, not printed on. We design it in Berlin — a city whose audio-engineering culture, from studio monitors to music software, is part of how we think.

OPEN SOURCE FOUNDATION
The DMP NEXUS ecosystem runs on Linux, a customized build of Audacious, OpenHome, and an ecosystem of open-source libraries maintained by thousands of developers over decades. This is not a shortcut — it is a choice we make with conviction.
We contribute where we can, credit where it is due, and believe that building on peer-reviewed, transparent foundations produces better engineering than opaque proprietary stacks.
To the open-source community — thank you. This product would not exist without your work.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
64bitAudio is a family startup. Engineers by training, audiophiles by inheritance — our father's lifelong pursuit of musical fidelity set us on this path.
Every decision in the DMP ONE reflects a conviction: that audio hardware should serve music, not ecosystems. That software is where the difference is made. That honesty about what a product is — and is not — is more valuable than polished marketing.
No compromises. No lock-in. No monthly fees.
FOR THE TECHNICAL READER
"The Art of Desktop Audio Streaming" documents the whole architecture: the sender, the SCD network protocol, and the receiver — and how bit-perfect transfer is verified. Written for people who verify before they buy.
